[Review] INNO 3D, KYRO2000(PowerVR 3)

Intro

Recently. we can see some trend that everyone disclaim "we are the first". therefore have you considered who is the first manufacturer of 3D graphics? most of normal users said without consideration "the first manufacturer is 3DFX". but this answer is wrong. there is only nVIDIA and 3DFX? dont forget Savage, Verite, Power VR even if nVIDIA is mighty chipset provider.

The first commercialized chipset among STM's chipset is PowerVR PCX1 chip. but it's poorest perfomance make manufacturers not to release graphic card based PowerVR PCX1. But one manufacturer, Matrox released graphic card based PowerVR PCX2, called M3D. however there are already Voodoo 1 and Riva 128 when matrox shiped M3D. M3D wasn't sold a lot. though M3D has a low geometry, it showed best performance(especailly display quality) in Tomb Raider

The reason that PowerVR become fame is not as a graphic card for PC. frankly said it became fame is as a chip in SEGA's Dreamcast. 600million Dreamcasts that adapted PowerVR were sold worldwide(now, Dreamcast went in up smoke.) PowerVR are well known as a chip in game console. but it' existence has faded out in PC market.

Package composition is BEST. they provide Mad Onion's 3D Mark 2000, as you know it's best benchmark utility. besides Adobe's Photo Deluxe has bundled. of course, Inno3D give consideration that buyer can watch DVD, WinDVD bundled and two racing games(Midnight GT, Rage Rally). Inno3D logo displayed while game loading. highlight is mouse pad:-)
